15 prawns(roughly 250g depending on size) deveined and cleaned
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Salt to season
To make the garlic chilli oil
5 garlic cloves sliced into thin slivers(avoid mincing or crushing the garlic, you want thin slices)
1/4 cup of olive oil
2 medium-sized red chillies sliced thin(you can use any type of fresh chilli available to you)
1 teaspoon of sweet paprika powder(if this is not available, try Kashmiri chilli powder which has a similar taste)
1/2 teaspoon of red chilli flakes(optional to increase heat)
1/4 cup of chopped parsley(optional as garnish)

Pat dry the cleaned and deveined shrimp and add them to a bowl.
Season with pepper(1/4 tsp) and salt. Combine and set aside for a few minutes.

Place the pan over low heat and pour in the olive oil(1/4 cup), let it warm for a few seconds.
